Fans of MIUI who own a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus (dubbed “Toro” in the development community) were treated to a tasty surprise yesterday, in the form of the development team’s spin on Android 4.0, otherwise know as Ice Cream Sandwich.

Samsung has announced plans today for the official Android 4.0 update for the device, which is said to be coming in the second quarter of this year. While, it may not be the news everyone wanted to hear, there’s still a bit of a bright side to this story, as Sammy has decided to include a a “Premium Suite” of applications designed specifically for use with the Note’s S-Pen.
