MIUI ROM officially released for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus
If you’ve done any dabbling in custom ROMs for Android, there’s a high probability that you’ve heard of MIUI — next to CyanogenMOD, one of the most popular ROM series, available for a wide array of devices. Fans of MIUI who own a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus (dubbed “Toro” in the development community) were treated to a tasty surprise yesterday, in the form of the development team’s spin on Android 4.0, otherwise know as Ice Cream Sandwich.

LG India has apparently told TMI that it will be launching 12 smartphones in the country this year, first of them being LG Optimus 4X HD. Company also plans to release L-series smartphones.

HTC India has announced on its official Facebook page that it will be launching One X in the country this April. While, company has not given any specific date for the launch, it should be happening very soon. We are expecting a price around INR34,000 for One X in India.
Mysterious new software release being soak tested for the Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi in US
If you own a Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, live in US and are currently enrolled in the Motorola Feedback Network, it looks like a new soak test is on its way, as per an email that just popped up in our inbox. App Update Overload: AndroZip File Manager, Dropbox & Lookout Security all get updates
Rather than busting these updates in to separate posts, I figured it’d be best to do one “App Update Overload” spot to let you know about a few nice apps that have updates waiting. Each app is great in its own way, but the updates just aren’t huge enough to devote an entire to each of them. Google Voice updated with support for Android 4.0 Visual Voicemail
An update for Google Voice has been released on the Google Play Store, bringing the application up to version 0.4.2.54. The aim of the update is to bring a better experience to Android 4.0 devices with the integration of Ice Cream Sandwich’s built-in visual voicemail feature.

Samsung Galaxy Note ICS update will bring “Premium Suite” with S-Pen specific apps in Q2
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note who were hoping for a Q1 Ice Cream Sandwich release will have to wait just a bit longer. Samsung has announced plans today for the official Android 4.0 update for the device, which is said to be coming in the second quarter of this year. While, it may not be the news everyone wanted to hear, there’s still a bit of a bright side to this story, as Sammy has decided to include a a “Premium Suite” of applications designed specifically for use with the Note’s S-Pen.
