After Asus, Netgear has also jumped on Google TV bandwagon. Company has introduced its first Google TV product at CES earlier today. Dubbed as NeoTV Prime with Google TV, it is like any other Google TV companion box and brings the usual Google TV features.
According to Netgear, along with all the Google TV goodness, the NeoTV PRIME also supports playback of media files from external USB hard drives and home media servers. Actually Prime is DLNA compatible and, with the pre-installed aVia app, it can push media to your TV from USB drives and other sources connected to the same network.
NeoTV PRIME also comes with a two-sided remote control, featuring a touchpad and directional pad on one side and a full-featured QWERTY keyboard on the other. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Ethernet, HDMI port, Bluetooth.
It has been priced at USD 129.99 and is available starting today.
