Samsung launches Galaxy Player 4, Galaxy Player 5 in US
Samsung today announced the launch of Galaxy Player 4 & 5 in United States. Powered by Android 2.2, both the devices will get the Gingerbread update.

Motorola announces Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi for US; available from March 27
Motorola today finally unveiled the Wi-Fi only version of its Honeycomb powered tablet Xoom in United States. Xoom Wi-Fi will be available from leading retailers across US starting March 27.
Amazon.com, Best Buy, Costco, RadioShack, Sam’s Club (select locations), Staples and Walmart will be offering the 10.1-inch widescreen HD tablet with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) through both online and retail store channels. Company has priced the tablet at $599 for 32 GB version.

Verizon finally declared the official availability date for HTC Thunderbolt. The smartphone will be available from March 17 on Verizon. Telecom operator has priced it at USD 249 with two year contract; you can get the same at only USD 199 at Wirefly.

Waiting for Kyocera Echo dual screen Android phone, Sprint just confirmed the availability date for the device. According to the telecom operator, Echo will be available starting April 17 in all Sprint retail channels.
Motorola Droid 3, Droid X 2 and unheard Moto Targa spotted
A series of upcoming Motorola Android smartphones have been spotted. This leak includes the previously rumored Droid X 2, as well as two new devices Motorola Droid 3 [Milestone 3 outside US], and Motorola Targa.
The details are scarce of all these models, but these models are expected to land on telecom operator Verizon in United States, which has released the previous models Droid X and Droid/Droid 2. Motorola Targa is supposed to be an Android smartphone supporting the 4G LTE network of Verizon.

T-Mobile Sidekick 4G launched; coming later this spring
T-Mobile has made Sidekick 4G official. This original Sidekick successor features Android 2.2, 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 3.5 inch display, 3 MP rear camera with a front facing VGA.
Sidekick 4G comes with HSPA+ support, which brings peak download speeds of up to 21 Mbps.

A flyer from US retailer Staples has dropped the Xoom WiFi version launch details in the country. As per the details in flyer, this Honeycomb powered tablet will be released in US on March 27 for a price of USD 599.98. While on the other hand, dev Al Sutton‘s sources have revealed that Xoom WiFi will hit UK stores on April 9.
