Chinese manufacturer ZTE has announced the launch of Light II Gingerbread tablet in UK yesterday. This Android tablet will be priced at £235 in the country. According to a pre-order listing, it is expected to go on sale in late-February or early March.

Toshiba has started selling the so-called world’s thinnest tablet AT200 in UK. It has been priced at £399 for the 16GB version and can now be ordered from Carphone Warehouse online, while the physical stores will get it on 15 February. The 32GB version of the tablet is available for £449.

Prada Phone by LG 3.0 is now available in UK via Phones 4U. You can grab it now for free with plans starting £31 a month. Phones 4U is the first retailer to stock the phone in the country, it will be available via other retailers on a later date.

Carphone Warehouse has reduced the price of Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi only version in UK to just 249.99GBP, earlier this Tegra 2 powered tablet was selling for 299.99GBP. This price-drop certainly makes Xoom more enticing, considering the official ICS update for the tablet has already landed in US and should be arriving to UK pretty soon.
