Telenor customers in Sweden will finally be able to pay for app purchases in Google Play using operator billing. The consumers with the telecom operator will get an update to Google Play store on their Android device, which will enable the carrier billing for them.

Samsung has announced pricing for Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 in Nordic countries. These tablets will be available in the months of August and September in these Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark; however telecom operator Telia will start selling Tab 10.1 in Sweden starting June 29.

Samsung announced that it will soon release a version of Galaxy Tab 8.9 that would support LTE networks of Nordic countries. The Nordic version will start shipping in the second half of 2011, the company added.

Well, the first Android dual-core smartphone was today spotted by the guys over at Swedroid over at CDON.se, a Swedish web store. LG Optimus 2X was earlier priced at 4999 Swedish kronor, but saw a sudden price drop to 3099 Swedish kronor [$255]. The current pricing seems in line with other high-end smartphones.
Swedish manufacturer People of Lava launches Android TV
This was the first Android TV which came in news earlier this year. From concept to reality, it is finally before us. People of Lava today launched its first Android television ‘Scandinavia’ in Sweden.
The company hopes by next year to sell the television in major overseas market like the U.S. as well. Scandinavia comes with Android 1.5 on-board and an app store, which has 20 applications right now.

Telenor has start taking pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy Tab. This Swedish telecom operator is selling Galaxy Tab free with Telenor’s Surfa Bass plan that will cost 369 SEK (55 USD) per month with a 2-year contract, which over the complete of the contract would cost about 8856 SEK (1320 USD).
