Sony Xperia S officially launched in India; Xperia P, U, Sola releasing soon
Sony Mobile India today announced the launch of Xperia NXT series of smartphones in the country. Xperia NXT series comprises of Xperia S, Xperia U, Xperia P and Xperia sola Android smartphones and the first one of the set Xperia S is now officially available in the country. It is being sold for INR 32,549.
First showcased at CES, Sony Xperia S is the first Sony branded smartphone and comes with features like Gingerbread, 1.5GHz dual core processor and NFC. It also sports a 4.3 inch 720p HD display, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and a 12.1M rear camera.

Company has also stated that it will be releasing the other smartphones of NXT series in the coming months, Xperia U and P are expected to be available in May. There is no word on the pricing of these smartphones.
To remind you, Sony Xperia P features 8 MP camera, 4-inch reality display, 1 GHz Qualcomm dual core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradeable to Android 4.0 ICS) and 16GB memory.
On the other hand, Sony Xperia U and Sony Xperia Sola both have 5MP camera, 8GB memory and Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradeable to Android 4.0 ICS).
