The street price is expected to be as low as NR 19,500, which certainly seems like a great price for a tablet which comes with features like 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 3G connectivity as well as GSM voice calling.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 was originally announced at MWC and is the first Android 4.0 tablet from the company.

Company’s terms and conditions for these pre-bookings are very odd and you should think twice before going for the booking from company website. Company is neither promising a confirmed delivery nor will you be able to cancel the order.

Originally announced in London, Samsung Galaxy S III comes with a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 1.4GHz Exynos quad core processor, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera, 16/32/64GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM.

ViewPhone 3 features 800MHz processor, 3.5 inch 480x320p resolution capacitive display, 5MP rear camera, 512MB of RAM, 512MB of internal memory and 1500 mAh battery.

Company has partnered with Reliance Digital to sell this dual-SIM phone at its outlets in the country. It will join the already existing dual-SIM smartphones from Samsung, LG, Micromax and Spice in under INR 10,000 price segment.

We spent some time with the smartphone and it worked decently. Device seemed a little laggy at first because of the 3D UI pre-loaded by the company, but after putting a third party launcher, that lag was gone. Browsing experience was also fine. One of the plus points for the smartphone is multi-touch support but the poor resolution of the display mars the experience.

Powered by 1GHz dual core processor, Xperia sola is expected to launch as early as May 18, as per the pre-order listing on Infibeam. The pricing of the smartphone is still now confirmed as Flipkart and Infibeam, both have listed different prices like INR 19,999 and INR 22,999 respectively.

It will be joined by Xperia U from the company in the mid-range smartphone segment, which is likely to become available sooner than sola.

Originally announced back in March, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 7-inch display, HSPA+ , 1GHz Dual Core processor, 3 MP Camera on the rear and a VGA front facing camera.

It is expected to be priced aggressively to take on the recent flood of low-cost tablets from several Indian manufacturers. At launch, this will be the first Ice Cream Sandwich tablet from the company in the Indian market.

In other news, Samsung is also set to start the sales of Galaxy Advance from May 16 in the country. It was recently announced along with Galaxy Pocket.

Sony India has already announced it with Xperia S last month in the country, so we are just waiting for the official availability date.

We are looking at two prices right now; Letsbuy has listed INR 17,399, while Flipkart is showing just INR 16,499. We would suggest you to wait for it to become available to get the right pricing.

Sony Xperia U runs on Android 2.3, but will be upgraded to Android 4.0 in the coming months. Other features of the smartphone include 1GHz dual core processor, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 3.5-inch capacitive display with 854X480p resolution, 512MB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage.

It further stated that the smartphone will be priced at INR 38,000, while the street price is likely to be in the vicinity of INR 34,000. The pricing is in-line with HTC’s One X, which is also the direct competitor to Galaxy S III.

To remind you, Samsung Galaxy S III features a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz quad core processor, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera and Android 4.0 with Touchwiz Nature UX.

Samsung is also planning big marketing push for Galaxy S III in the India and Delhi is part of company’s world tour featuring the smartphone.

Originally announced at Mobile World Congress, LG Optimus L3 features Android 2.3, 3.2 inch capacitive display, 800MHz processor, 3MP camera and 1500 mAh battery. There is nothing great in terms of the specifications, but at this price – one cannot expect much from the manufacturers.

Other features of the smartphone include 1GB of internal memory, 384MB RAM, and usual connectivity options.

It isn’t the first disappointment from the company so far this year, even the Galaxy S II and Note buyers in the country are still waiting for Ice Cream Sandwich update. Users in several other countries have already got the update for these two smartphones after even going through the additional carrier testing, which does not take place in India.

Samsung might call India a very important market but time and again its actions have suggested otherwise and Galaxy Nexus episode is one example of that.

Galaxy Nexus was originally announced on October 19, 2011 and have been released in several countries till now including various smaller markets.

What is more disturbing, that Samsung India had earlier tweeted about a January launch, then it got delayed till March and now suddenly company says no we won’t release it at all. Company has not even made a proper statement to the eager consumers and the “no Galaxy Nexus launch news” is actually coming from company’s reply to a few users on Twitter.
