XOLO X910 goes on sale for INR 9,999
XOLO’s Intel Atom-powered Android smartphone X910 is now available in India. The phone is a stripped-down version of the company’s earlier launched X900 smartphone and will replace the phone in the country.
Compared to X900, the specifications of X910 are slightly on the lower-side. The XOLO X910 comes with a 4.3-inch qHD display and is powered by 1.6GHz Intel AtomZ2460 processor, which is same as X900.

ZTE to launch smartphones, tablets in India
Chinese telecommunications giant ZTE is planning to enter the already crowded Indian smartphone market. The company has partnered with Pune-based Calyx Telecommunications to distribute its products in the country.
According to a report in Business Line, ZTE will initially release five smartphones ranging from INR 5,799 to INR 14,999 followed by tablets.

E-retailer starts taking HTC One orders
Looks like HTC One is finally hitting the Indian shores. One Indian retailer Saholic has started taking the orders for HTC One smartphone for INR 42,900, but is promising to ship it in eight days, suggesting they might still be waiting for the actual stocks. 
According to the information we have received so far, first HTC One stocks are expected to reach brick and mortar stores and online retailers around May 20, following which they shall start shipping.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311 gets a price-cut, now selling for INR 8,999
Samsung has silently reduced the price of its Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab 2 311 in the Indian market. The tablet is now available for just INR 8,999 at Flipkart; other e-retailers are also offering the tablet at similar but slightly higher prices.
To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311 was earlier selling for INR 11,900, so it is almost INR 2,000 reduction in the price of this tablet.

Panasonic India to launch 8 smartphones this year, eyes 8pc market share
Panasonic has revealed that it plans to launch eight more smartphones in the Indian market this year. These smartphones will be priced between INR 6,990 and INR 35,000, company executives announced at the launch of P51, its first Android phone in the country.
The Japanese manufacturer has just re-entered the Indian mobile space, it earlier used to sell feature-phones in the country. With the growing demand of smartphones all over, the company is looking to get back in the game.

Lemon Mobiles launches Aspire A1 with 5.3-inch IPS display for INR 14,999
Lemon Mobiles has announced a new Android smartphone in the Indian market today. Dubbed as Aspire A1, it is the first phone in the company’s Aspire series. It will be sold at a price-tag of INR 14,999 (MRP: INR 15,999).
There are no exciting features in the smartphone. The phone packs a 5.3-inch qHD IPS display, 1GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.0. It also comes with 8MP rear camera and 2500 mAh battery.

Spice launches 5-inch Stellar Horizon Pro Mi-505 for INR 8,499
S Mobility has announced the launch of a new Android smartphone in its Stellar line-up today. Dubbed as Mi-505 Stellar Horizon Pro, the smartphone has been priced at INR 8,499 and is now available online as well in major retail stores.
Spice Mi-505 features a 5-inch WVGA display, dual-SIM 3G support and dual-core processor. The phone also comes with Android 4.0 and 512MB RAM.

Panasonic launches P51 Android phone for INR 26,900
As we had reported earlier, Panasonic today announced the launch of its first Android smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Panasonic P51, the smartphone has been priced at INR 26,900. According to the company, it will be available beginning next week.
Panasonic P51 runs on Android 4.2, which is the latest Android version coupled with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The phone also packs 1GB of RAM and 8MP rear camera on-board. You can check out the full specifications later in the post.

LG India launches Nexus 4 for INR 25,990
After the reports of Nexus 4 pre-orders on Flipkart, LG India has now officially announced the launch of Nexus 4 smartphone in the country today. Priced almost same as the pre-order listing, the phone will be available at INR 25,999 (16GB version) in the country.
It might not be at par with the Google Play pricing, but it is still a very decent price compared to similar featured smartphones from other companies.
