No need to root your HTC Android phone anymore to take screenshots, HTC has announced that the recently released Android 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0 updates for its various smartphones include the native screenshot feature. Company has been updating HTC Incredible S, Desire S, Desire HD and other phones in the last few weeks.

As smartphones are increasingly replacing point-n-shoot cameras, Polaroid has announced a device called Smart Camera that is essentially a smartphone without a phone. While it does not decrease the number of devices you carry, it does replace point-n-shoot with a much smarter device which can be used for a lot of other purposes.
Sony’s Android powered Walkman Z Series coming to US, Europe in late-Feb

Sony has announced that its Android powered PMP Walkman Z Series will reach US and European countries in late-February. There is no word on the availability in Asian countries apart from Japan, where it is already available since last year.
Microsoft sues Motorola in UK
Microsoft has filed a lawsuit against Motorola Mobility in London High Court recently, reported Bloomberg. Court papers however did not include the exact nature of the Microsoft’s claim against Motorola.
It is expected to be a patents related case considering it came days after Microsoft won a ruling before the US ITC over claims Android-based smartphones infringe Microsoft’s patents.
Neither of the companies has so-far issued any statements on the UK lawsuit, but we hope to hear something soon.
Lenovo ThinkPad Hybrid X1 brings two OS, two processors in one laptop

Lenovo has announced a quite interesting laptop at CES earlier today. Dubbed as ThinkPad Hybrid X1, it combines two processors and two operating systems in one laptop. Basically X1 is a normal laptop with Windows 7 and any processors out of Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processor (depending on your laptop config) but it also includes an Instant Media Mode, which is the interesting part.
