Sony Xperia ZR might not be released in UK, France and Germany

Reports are coming in from Europe that Sony’s just announced rugged Xperia ZR might not be released in countries like UK, France and Germany. When Sony unveiled Xperia ZR yesterday, it was not specific about the regional launch details, which is normal, as the companies tend to leave this part to the regional arms.Xperia_ZR_main

Although the UK and Germany offices of Sony are yet to officially issue any statement about the Xperia ZR availability, Sony France has taken to Twitter to reveal that Xperia ZR will not be released in France.

LG starts global roll-out of Optimus F5 LTE

LG has announced that it is finally starting to sell the Optimus F5 LTE smartphone and it will go on sale in France tomorrow, followed by other European countries. The phone will also be released in South and Central America, Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States over the next few weeks.LG Optimus F5

Originally showcased at Mobile World Congress, LG F-series of devices come with 4G LTE connectivity coupled with decent specifications. They are in no way competitors to the high-end phones and aim to bring LTE devices to the mass market.

HTC First to be sold via EE, Orange too, contract-free US pricing revealed

HTC along with Facebook unveiled its first phone to come with Facebook’s newly announced ‘Home’ user interface later yesterday. Amazon brings Kindle Fire HD 8.9 to more countries, reduces price in US

Amazon has announced that it is releasing its Kindle Fire HD 8.9 tablet in more countries across the globe. The tablet will now be sold in UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan. The company also revealed that it is reducing the price of the tablet in the United States. Amazon Kindle Fire HD will now be sold starting $269 in the country.kindle-fire-hd_8_9

Nexus 4 stock expected to reach UK, France, Spain & Australia Google Play stores today

Yesterday was a surprisingly great day for Nexus 4 lovers as the new stocks of this elusive smartphone arrived in Google Play for US, Canada and Germany. Well, Google is not planning to leave other countries in Dark (where Nexus 4 is sold via Google Play).

According to a report on Android Police, they have heard from a credible source that Google Play Stores in UK, France, Spain and Australia will be getting new Nexus 4 stock today (tomorrow in the case of Australia).

It is likely that we will also see the bumper in stock, as the same happened in US Google Play, but we would not bet on that.

Nexus 4, Nexus 10 go on sale in select countries; sold out in minutes

In not so good news for struggling manufacturer, Sony’s Xperia V has been reportedly delayed. According to a tweet by Sony Mobile France, the Xperia V, which was earlier scheduled to release next month, will now go on sale in January 2013.

Google TV lands in France with Sony’ NSZ-GS7 set-top box for €200

After making its way to US, UK, Australia and other select countries, Google TV has landed in France now. Sony released its Google TV integrated set top box NSZ-GS7 recently and it is now on sale for €200. Company also stated that it plans to launch its NSZ-GP9 device, which ships with an integrated Blu-ray player and Google TV later in the year for €299.

Acer has announced the launch of its quad core ICS tablet Iconia Tab A510 in France yesterday. It will be available late-March in the country for €399. Showcased first at CES last month, A510 is a director competitor to Asus Transformer Prime, but much cheaper.
