Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has announced recall of around 300 Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablets due to unstable WiFi connectivity. According to company, this problem was present in the first batch of tablets sold before December 3.

HTC Salsa lands in Taiwan
HTC has launched its FB phone Salsa in home country. The smartphone will be sold in partnership with Chunghwa Telecom for a retail price of retail price of NT$12,900 (US$449).

Samsung today launched its Galaxy S successor S II in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Company hasn’t unveiled the pricing in any of the countries, but the smartphone will be soon available.
Eric Schmidt to go on Android Asia promotion tour
Android is already getting hugely popular in Asia, but it seems that is not enough for Google, so the company chairman Eric Schmidt himself is planning to promote it in the continent. According to a report in Taiwanese publication CENS, Eric will be on an Asia tour which includes Taiwan in the second half of this year.
