Singtel Samsung Galaxy tab pricing and plans
Singtel has released the contract pricing details for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, which will be available in the Singapore market from November 13.
Galaxy Tab will be given free to users with plan of S$95 a month for 500 minutes of call time and 12GB of data on the go. At the entry level, consumers can buy the tablet for S$538 by signing up for a S$39-a-month plan with 12GB data as well, but with just 100 minutes of talk time.

Samsung launches Galaxy Tab in Singapore; coming on Nov 13 [Update]
Samsung today announced its flagship Android tablet Galaxy Tab for Singapore. Company has partnered with Singtel to sell the device, while it will also be selling an unlocked version.
Samsung will start shipping the Wi-FI cum 3G version of tablet from November 13, while the Wi-FI only version is expected to hit later. It has not disclosed the price right now, but they are expected to be in line with the US prices, where the tablet is selling for $600 outright.

Motorola launches Charm and Flipout Android phones in Singapore
Motorola has launched two Android phones Charm and Flipout for Singapore. These Android 2.1 powered smartphones will be immediately available in the market.

Motorola will be selling Flipout will Singapore $469, while the Charm will cost Singapore $499.
Specifications:
Motorola Flipout: It sports five-row rotator QWERTY keypad, 2.8-inch screen (320×240 pixels) with multi-touch support including pinch to zoom, 3 MP camera, 512MB internal memory with support for up to 32GB MicroSD cards and comes with seven customisable home screens.

HTC announces launch of Desire HD & Desire Z for Asia Pacific

HTC today officially launched its latest Android 2.2 smartphones Desire HD and Desire Z in Asia Pacific countries. These smartphones will be available through mobile operators and retailers across major Asian markets from November 2010.
While we are waiting for prices for other countries, HTC has announced the recommended retail prices for Taiwan, and they are NTD20,900 and NTD18,900 respectively for Desire HD & Z.

Garmin-Asus yesterday launched the Android powered A50 smartphone in Singapore. The upcoming smartphone comes with pre-loaded navigation software & Singapore and Malaysia maps. The maps are installed on the smartphones so users do not have to wait for third party maps to download from a server, nor will they lose their navigation if they are out of cell phone coverage.

Huawei has launched its cheapest Android 2.2 smartphone “Ideos” in Singapore. This smartphone will be available in Singapore in the fourth quarter of this year from operators and at any large IT chain store. “The IDEOS has been designed and priced to lower the barriers to entry to allow easy mobile Internet access,” said Alex Jiang, president of Huawei Device in the Asia Pacific.
HTC releases Android 2.2 update for ‘Desire’ in South East Asia[Update]
HTC has released the Android 2.2 update for Desire users in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. An update in this regard was posted on HTC’s official website yesterday. If you live in South East Asia and use HTC Desire, Your phone will receive a notification of FOTA update when it is made available. Simply press OK to accept the update via a data connection such as Wi-Fi or GPRS/3G.
