Samsung Galaxy Tab on sale in Russia for 36,990 Rubles
Samsung confirmed that Galaxy Tab will go on sale in Russia today. This Android tablet will be sold for 36,990 rubles ($1,228) reported Samsung Hub.

MTS to launch iPad rival in Russia
Russia’s largest mobile operator Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) is working on an Android tablet to counter Apple’s iPad. At the recent International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg, MTS unveiled this tablet. This 7-inch display tablet can be operated with a stylus or fingertip, and gives connectivity options via 3G network and Wi-Fi.
MTS seems to have contacted Foxconn and Pegatron in Taiwan for manufacturing this tablet. It is expected on sale in the fourth quarter of 2010.

Samsung is on track in its simultaneous launch of Galaxy S in 110 countries across the month of June.
