LG’s recently announced L-Style series smartphone Optimus L7 might be heading to telecom operator Rogers in Canada, reports Mobilesyrup. However there is no detail on the price or the exact availability date for the smartphone. LG has previously stated that Optimus L7 will be rolling out in markets across globe starting May, so Canadian debut should coincide that only.

Samsung Canada has announced that Galaxy Nexus will be available via Rogers, Fido and Telus telecom operators tomorrow, while SaskTel, Mobilicity, WIND Mobile and Videotron are also soon going to release the phone. Seems like all the Canadian telcos are going to launch the latest Nexus phone. Bell and Virgin have already been selling the phone for sometime.

According to a leaked Bell document, this Canadian telecom operator will be releasing Android 4.0 update for HTC Sensation in February 2012, making it one of the first phones after Galaxy Nexus on the network to run on Ice Cream Sandwich.

Entry-level Gingerbread smartphone LG Eclypse has been launched by two Canadian telecom operators. This slide-out QWERTY is being sold for just $250 without contract on both the telcos, while if you want a three year contract, then Bell will give it to you for free, but Virgin is asking for $49.99. Virgin Mobile is also Eclypse on pre-paid for $199.99.

North American countries US and Canada will be finally getting the first ICS phone Galaxy Nexus next month. According to a report in Business Insider, Samsung has confirmed to the publication that Galaxy Nexus will make its US debut next month, but was silent on the exact release date or the pricing.
