Australian telecom operator Telstra has announced the availability of Gingerbread powered Desire S in the country, while Wildfire S will go on sale in July. Telstra will sell Desire S for $5 a month on the $59 Freedom Connect plan over 24 months starting May 31. Wildfire S will be priced at $360 outright and will go on sale from July 16.

Optus Australia has started taking the preorders for Samsung Galaxy S II, it will go on sale from June 1 in the country. Telecom operator will sell it for $5 per month on a $59 cap or else for free on $79 plan. There are other packages also available.
