Verizon Galaxy Note 2 getting Android 4.1.2 update
Verizon has started rolling out a software update for Galaxy Note II users in the United States. The update is now available over-the-air (OTA). 246MB in size, this update brings many new features including support of multi-window in more apps.
The Android version is also getting bumped to Android 4.1.2 with this update.
Here are the update details: Baseband version I605VRAMC3, Kernel version 3.0.31-1098177 and Build number JZO54K.I605VRAMC3

Samsung Galaxy S Advance Android 4.1 update now available
Samsung India has finally started rolling out Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S Advance smartphone in India. The update is now available via Kies app on PC and Mac, the OTA roll-out should begin in a few days.
Similar to all Samsung software updates, it is also being released in batches, so not everyone will get it right-away, but it should reach your device in the matter of days.

Android 4.1 roll-out for Sony Xperia P, Xperia go and Xperia E dual begins this week
Sony has announced that it is beginning the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update roll-out for three Android smartphones this week. The update release will continue over the next two months in a phased manner region by region.
The smartphones that are getting Jelly Bean starting this week are Sony Xperia P, Go and Xperia E dual.

HTC One getting first software update 1.29.401.12 in Europe
HTC has started rolling out the first software update for HTC One unlocked units in Germany. Dubbed as software version 1.29.401.12, the update is around 229MB in size and will soon be released for carrier branded units as well, reports Bestboyz.de.
This software update for HTC One brings EXIF data error fix along with stability and performance improvements.

XOLO to release Android 4.1 OTA update for select phones
XOLO has revealed that it will soon be releasing Jelly Bean software update for select Android phones in its line-up. The update will be rolled-out over-the-air (OTA), which is a welcome change, as most of the home-grown manufacturers tend to provide software updates from their service centres.
There is no word on which of the XOLO smartphones will be getting the Android 4.1 update but the company’s recently launched XOLO X1000 seems to be a contender. We also expect to see Jelly Bean update for XOLO X500, another Intel powered smartphone from the company.

Xperia P, Go, S, SL, Ion, acro S Android 4.1 update in final stages: Sony
Sony’s global PR team has tweeted that Jelly Bean update for at least six Xperia phones is in final stage and more information will be released very soon. These Xperia smartphones are Xperia P, Xperia Go, Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia Ion, and Xperia acro S.

Sony has already released Android 4.1 update for phones like Xperia T, V, J, and TX phones. Other phones like Xperia sola, Xperia U will not be receiving the Jelly Bean update, as already announced by the company.
Samsung Galaxy Note II getting XXDMC3 update in India
Samsung is rolling out a new software update for Galaxy Note II users in India. The Update is now available over-the-air (OTA); you can also try updating via the Kies application on your PC or Mac.
The new update mainly brings stability improvements as well a fix for lock-screen bypass bug that was reported for the smartphone some days ago. The update size is around 50MB and you will get a notification on your Galaxy Note 2 to update the device.

Sony announces Jelly Bean update for Xperia Tablet S, goes live tomorrow
Sony has announced that it will start rolling out the Android 4.1 for its Xperia Tablet S tomorrow i.e. April 18. The company noted in its support forums that the current update release is valid for the United States, Canada, and Latin America Region. Other regions should get the update in the coming weeks, but Sony is yet to reveal a schedule.
“We are pleased to announce the release of the Jelly Bean update for the Xperia Update which will be pushed out to our production server on April 18th 2013 between 9am – 10am pacific standard time,” Sony stated.

iBall Andi 4.5H getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update
iBall has announced that it is now providing the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Andi 4.5H smartphone in the country. The update is now available via the official service centres of the company. So, Andi 4.5H owners will have to visit their nearest service centre (list) to get the update, the company noted in a blog post.
There is no OTA version or software tool to get the update. Originally launched in December last year, iBall Andi 4.5H came with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on-board.
