Is Samsung working on fingerprint scanning tech for Galaxy smartphones?
Samsung is reportedly working on some kind of fingerprint scanning technology for Galaxy smartphones. Files uncovered in the recently leaked Galaxy S III Android 4.2.2 firmware include a number of icons and graphics pertaining to a fingerprint-related feature.
There are no details available right now, but the presence of these graphics indicates that Samsung is indeed working on something related to fingerprint technology and it will probably be integrated in the home button of the smartphones.

Is Samsung working on Galaxy S4 Mega?
Looks like two Mega series devices weren’t enough for Samsung, the company now seems to be working on a Mega edition of Galaxy S4 smartphone. If the official change-log of Samsung WatchOn app is accurate, the company is going to release Galaxy S4 Mega in the coming months.
However, the mention of Galaxy S4 Mega can always be a ‘typo,’ and the person responsible for writing the change-log meant to refer to the already announced Mega-series devices, both of which are supposed to come with Samsung WatchOn.

Nexus 7 successor to go on sale in July: Report
Thanks to Google’s plans to make this year’s I/O more developer-centric, the company did not announce Android 4.3 or Nexus 7 successor at the event. So, when is the next Nexus 7 tablet coming? Seems like, we are going to see it in July.
According to a report on Digitimes, Google plans to start selling the next-generation Nexus 7 tablet in July and will keep the existing price. There is no way to confirm this, but we don’t really see Google waiting too long to launch the Nexus 7 II.

Android 4.3, White Nexus 4 launching on June 10: Report
Android 4.3 might not have made an appearance at Google I/O, but that doesn’t mean we will have to wait for it a long time. A report at Android and Me suggests that Google is planning to announce Android 4.3 on June 10.
Although the date is yet to be officially confirmed, it looks possible that we will see Android 4.3 in less than a month. As per Android and Me sources, Google intentionally booted Android 4.3 from Google I/O 2013as it wanted to showcase their ability to release new services and APIs without updating the Android versions, which they did.

Samsung Galaxy S4 “Google Edition” rumoured to launch today
Samsung and Google are reportedly going to announce a stock Android running Galaxy S4 variant today at Google I/O keynote. This new version is likely to be called Galaxy S4 Google Edition or Galaxy S4 GE and it might even get the “With Google” logo on the back.
Tech news site Geek is reporting that the Galaxy S4 GE will keep everything like it is and the only difference between the retail Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 GF will be the presence of stock Jelly Bean OS version.

Notion Ink to rise from the dead and announce Adam II next month?
If you have been tracking tablet development for a long time, chances are that you might have heard of Notion Ink. It is the company that promised lots of things but left many disappointed with its Adam tablet. After lot of hiccups, problems and a teaser for Adam II, the company went into hibernation around early2012 but now it seems to be waking up.
According to a report in Next Big What, Notion Ink is busy working on Adam II these days and will announce the tablet next month. The company is apparently using a “unique design with dual displays.”

HTC, LG to introduce new flagship smartphones in Q3, 2013
Adding to the already circulating rumours, Digitimes is reporting that HTC and LG plan to introduce new flagship smartphones in the second half of the year. The phones will be announced sometime in Q3 to be precise.
As per the report, both companies want to be ready for the next Apple iPhone, which should be arriving around the same time.

XOLO Q2000 quad-core phone with 5.5-inch HD display, 13MP camera, JB leaked
Along with its first Tegra 3 smartphone Play T1000, XOLO is also planning to launch another smartphone in Q-series. Dubbed as Q2000, the phone will be powered 1.2GHz quad-core processor (probably MediaTek made). 
According to information gathered by Android Nova, XOLO Q2000 will feature a 5.5-inch 1280x720p HD display, 13MP rear camera and Android 4.2. The phone will also come with 2MP front camera, dual-SIM support and 2500 mAh battery.

Amazon working on two smartphones including one with 3D display: WSJ
E-Retail giant Amazon is reportedly working on two smartphones, instead of the previously rumoured one, reports Wall Street Journal. The paper also reports that one of these two smartphone features 3D display.
According to WSJ, the 3D smartphone packs high-end specifications and the display can show 3D images without the need of glasses. The phone packs retina-tracking technology, which enables the images on the smartphone seem floating above the display like a hologram and appear 3D from all sides, paper notes.

Lenovo K900 India launch delayed till May 20: Report
After first reporting about the Lenovo K900 India launch, NDTV Gadgets has now backtracked and is stating that the release has been delayed. The site is saying that we can expect the K900 launch around May 20 in the country.
Lenovo K900 is world’s first smartphone with Intel Clover Trail+ Atom Z2580 processor at core. It is rumoured to be coming with INR 25,000 price-tag, however it seems highly unlikely to us given the Chinese pricing of the phone – 3299 Yuan (INR 29,168). It is more plausible that we will see a pricing close to INR 30-32K.
