Simple script allows users to easily remove Blur from many Motorola Devices
If you own a Motorola device, chances are you either love or hate the OEM’s “Blur” overlay. As an AOSP purist at heart, I would absolutely fall into the latter group, provided I owned a Moto phone or Tablet (HTC and Asus all the way here, baby). If you just cant stand the way Blur looks, you might find interest in this simple script that was compiled by XDA Senior Member Lokifish Marz that allows you to de-Blur almost any Motorola device.

Gingerbread still the most dominant Android flavor; ICS on less than 3% of devices
While Google has time and time again said that it plans to iron out fragmentation in the Android ecosystem, the numbers tell an obviously and entirely different tale. According to statistics from Android’s Platform Versions dashboard that were detailed in a report by Engadget, Android 4.0 — or as most of you know it, Ice Cream Sandwich — is only installed on a whopping 2.9% of all devices.

A new malware threat has surfaced in the Android community and has been discovered by NQMobile in pirated versions of popular applications that require root access. DKFBootkit, an evolved form of earlier DroidKungFu variants, is a nasty little bugger that uses known techniques to embed malicious payloads into legitimate apps.
