From earlier leaks, we know that Acer is working on another version of its Android smartphone ‘Liquid’ – Liquid Metal. A Thai Blog DroidSans, which scored the pics of another Acer Android phone, published a spy shot of Liquid Metal. Metal is expected to be launched this month, with Android 2.2, Acer Shell 4.0 UI, Qualcomm MSM 7230-1 800 MHz processor, 512MB ROM, 512MB RAM, 3.61” WVGA display with multi-touch.
Coming to the tablet part, we have earlier reported that Acer will be launching three Android tablets with display-sizes ranging from 5 inch, 7 inch and 10 inch in the first quarter of 2011. A spy shot of 7 or 10 inch Acer Android tablet was also leaked by DroidSans. Tablet currently runs on Android 2.2 as we can see, but it will be launching with Android 3.0.
No other details are available on the tablet currently.
