Taiwan Mobile has launched T2 – A self branded Android smartphone in Taiwanese market. The smartphone runs on Éclair and will be sold of a retail price of NT$6,990.
With T2, company plans to tap into the growing entry level smartphone segment.
Taiwan Mobile expects T2 to account to account for at least 15-20% of its total smartphone sales, Digitimes reported.
