HTC launches Wildfire in India for 16,000 INR

htc wildfire e1279270683977 HTC launches Wildfire in India for 16,000 INRAs we earlier anticipated of the Wildfire launch. HTC released the device in Indian market recently.
As the successor to HTC Tattoo in the market, the smartphone comes with Android 2.1 on board (HTC has promised Froyo update for all the devices released in 2010, so Wildfire will get it too). Other specs include 528 MHz processor, a 3.2 inch QVGA capacitive display, 512 MB ROM and 384 MB RAM, 3G, Wi-Fi, internal GPS receiver, 5.0 MP camera, 3.5 mm audio jack and a 1300 mAh battery. The handset will retail for Rs 16,000.

    U have Mentioned outside cell, price as 8,990 and inside u r saying it’s 16,000.
    what’s this?
    which is an exact price?

    There have been couple of Android smart phones launched in the Indian market. These phones are great if being used with a data plan. I am not sure how many people take data plan. we can not really utilize these phones without internet. Most of the good apps also require data plan. Any one here has hands-on experience with this phone?
