Well this is big and many of us have been waiting for this news. NDTV just now reported that Dell will be offering its smartphone cum tablet Streak this October in India. This news is coming directly from Michael Tatelman, Dell Vice President for Global Consumer Channel Sales & Marketing.
There is no word about the price, but expect it to be in Rs 30,000 range. Dell Streak is shipping with Android 1.6, right now everywhere although expect Android 2.2 later in the year, sometime around India launch. May India get it with Froyo on-board.
