Samsung today launched the Android powered Galaxy S smartphone in India. This the third Android phone launched by the company in the country. Other two models are Galaxy and Galaxy Spica. Galaxy S is one of the most advanced and powerful smartphone today available worldwide.
This feature filled smartphone comes with Android 2.1 on-board. It has the Touchwiz 3.0 UI. Talking about the specifications, it comes with a 4 inch Super AMOLED screen, 5MP camera capable of shooting 720p video, 1GHz processor, 8GB or 16GB storage (with microSD support too) and a 3.5mm headphone socket. Galaxy S is priced at Rs. 31,000. Other two Galaxy models in India are currently retailing at 12,500 INR and Rs 14,000 INR. Today’s announcement makes a total of 12 Android phones in India.

I do not see fm radio in the spec sheet in this article.
I heard that fm radio is available in the UK launch.
So do we have fm radio in this?

That’s right, FM Radio is included in some Galaxy S versions. We are not yet sure about India version. We are still waiting for the official specs sheet for India. Will update as soon as we get that.
