| HTC Supersonic – World’s First WiMax Enabled Android Phone |
If you are eagerly awaiting the first 4G Android phone from HTC, we have the tentative timeframe for you.
Paget Alves, Sprint’s president of Business Markets, told Forbes that the carrier’s “first 4G handset will launch in the first half of 2010.” Unfortunately, he didn’t mention which device or platform, but all the recent leaks point to an Android-based device “HTC Supersonic” as a high possibility.
The HTC Supersonic showed up last month on a leaked shot of Sprint’s internal systems as the HTC A9292.
It’s rumored to have a massive 4.3″ screen and 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
