Well, this is certainly a good news for Android lovers in India. Acer has been hesitating to launch its Android smartphone in India for quiet sometime. Although it launched its Android based dual-boot Aspire netbook, A1 was still waiting in line.
Today folks over Cellpassion reported that Acer is indeed bringing A1 to India next week with a retail price tag of around Rs 25,000. Keeping in mind the fact that Samsung just few days ago dropped the price of Galaxy smartphone, it is a bad deal, I would say not to go for Acer A1, Galaxy is retailing for something around Rs 16,000.
To remind you all, The Liquid runs on Android 1.6 aka Donut. Talking about specs, the Liquid has a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor underclocked at 768 MHz and a 5.0 MP camera.
