Acer has launched Liquid in India, which the company claims is the world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon processor based and world’s first Android 1.6 high definition smartphone, combining cutting-edge technologies, software innovation and an ultra-fluid user interface to create an all-new mobile experience.

“Liquid exemplifies speed in style. With ellipse curves, a choice of red, white and black colors, and a slim body shape, Liquid will please the style-seeking smartphone consumer. Liquid, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon running Android 1.6 delivers real-time ubiquitous communication and location-aware content. Acer Liquid has smart integration of Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Picasa and Flickr in the address book, with real-time notification of status or content updates. Acer Liquid will be priced at Rs. 24,900 (with 2 GB micro SD) and would be available across major retailers in India.
