Barnes & Noble Nook gets rooted

After Droid, it was the turn of Nook to get rooted. As people still await their own Nook to arrive, Nookdevs have already rooted the device. Although we still don’t know that what can be done with a rooted Nook, but Nookdevs said, “Nook can do everything a rooted android phone can do.”
Ealier on Sunday, Nookdevs discovered a DNS hack, followed by a teardown of the physical device to gain more information about how the Nook operates. After discovering that the Nook OS is run from the SD card. They announced that – “We have root.”
We are yet to see the detailed root instructions but they will be soon out.
