After days of wait, Android finally came to India with Airtel in the form of HTC Magic, Airtel with along with Vodafone also launched iPhone in India last year.
The Indian Magic comes in an interesting red/black color version.
Other than that, its features are similar to the ones of the original Magic, including: Android 1.5 OS, 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display, G-sensor, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, web browser, email and a 3.2 autofocus camera with video recording.
Customers will be able to find the HTC Magic at Airtel Relationship Centres and authorised HTC resellers in 17 important Indian towns.
The retail price of HTC Magic is of 29,900 ($616). Airtel’s subscribers who buy the smartphone will be provided with 100MB/month of free data download, for 6 months.
